Once upon a time
Destiny
“Destiny”
Once upon a time, I made a writing called “hello happiness” describing how fleeting it was. “You never tell me when you’re leaving” I wrote, describing the days I’d wake up empty.
Once upon a time, I made a writing called “hello sadness” describing how it made an abode in me, so long I started to find comfort in it. “Hello again” I wrote, describing this familiar feeling that I’ve grown to welcome.
Once upon a time I thought my script on love was the one where love moved far away from me. I thought I owed karma a debt and I had to pay in full.
Then I met a love so magical, so surreal that I’d just smile because it felt like the warmth of a home after a cold day outside.
I’d often tell her “you’re the poetry that I write about” she’s the expression I was looking for, she’s the depth I couldn’t describe.
Our eyes say the words say the same as our lips and our souls understand because we not only match physically but spiritually. A full flame and not just a spark in the spectrum.
A woman whose hand I love to hold because every time our hands meet, it’s like a clap of destiny.
